Product Description
The Ni-Cd battery for rail transit application manufactured by Sichuan Changhong Battery Co., Ltd. has been gained international certificate of IEC60623-2001, Korean certificate of KS, CE certificate. This kind of nickel cadmium battery has several advantages, such as good discharge performance under big current and low temperature, wide operation temperature, minor self-discharge, excellent resistance performance to electric abuse, free maintenance, high mechanical strength, high safety factor, high resistance to impact and vibration.
Changhong Nickel Cadmium battery for rail transit application is specially suitable for emergency and general lighting of vehicle, metro and light rail train, signal on rail intersection, driving power of safety fence, emergency lighting power for railway station and subway station, as well as diesel engine starting.
Changhong Nickel Cadmium battery can conduct normal operation under the temperature at -40ºC~+70ºC. The battery can be discharged 70% of rated capacity by 0.2ItA.

Adopting the new valve control type assembling vent plug avoids the decrease of water, prolongs the maintenance period of the nickel cadmium battery, guarantees the performance of Ni-Cd battery and extends the service life.
Selecting the optimum density potassium hydroxide solution(high purity) as electrolyte reduces the internal resistance of the nickel cadmium battery, improves the performance under low temperature, big current discharge and high temperature charge.
Super high charge-discharge efficiency, lower water consumption.
Free maintenance, in general, at least within 3 years no need to conduct activating treatment during the whole operation period.
